New stable release: 30 September 2026 and LAMMPS-GUI v3.1.1

The 30Sep2026 stable version of LAMMPS is available for download. A companion version 3.1.1 of LAMMPS-GUI was also released today.

Source code and binary packages are available on GitHub and on the lammps.org download server.
