Most of the VTI media anisotropy parameter inversions are based on the reflection coefficient approximation equation, but the high-precision inversion needs to consider the error between the exact solution and the approximate solution. This paper demonstrates the necessity of using the exact solution by comparing the approximate solution and the exact solution of the VTI media reflection coefficient equation; establishes the inversion objective function based on the exact reflection coefficient equation of VTI media, and combines the genetic algorithm with the gray wolf optimizer to form the genetic algorithm grey wolf optimizer, which improves the local search capability of the genetic algorithm based on its global search capability, additionally, achieve inversion based on exact reflection coefficient equations for VTI media; By applying the inversion process to the logging model and seismic data containing different levels of noise, the trial results show that the inversion has smaller error and better noise resistance, which demonstrates the feasibility of the method furthermore, the inversion test is carried out on the actual data, and the obtained profiles have higher resolution and smaller error, which demonstrates the validity of the method. The research results will provide support for improving the accuracy and reliability of seismic data inversion.
