The properties of local orientational order in liquid gallium are considered in a wide temperature range from 313 to 1073 K. To describe interparticle interaction, the embedded atom model (EAM) is used, which reproduces well the observed data on the structure of such a liquid. The characteristics of the local orientational order of liquid gallium are investigated using the Voronoi and rotational invariants methods. Their specific features are discussed in comparison with the model liquid, a Lennard-Jones melt.
