The thermodynamic and mass transport properties of the working fluids at the liquid-vapor interface sig-nificantly affect the condensation and evaporation processes. However, the thermodynamic and mass transport properties of mixture working fluid with high efficiency still need to be studied further. Therefore, the thermodynamic and mass transport properties of R1234ze(E) and R32 mixtures at the liquid-vapor interface were investigated by molecular dynamics simulations. The results showed that the surface tension of the simulated systems decreases with the increase of the mole fraction of R32 and R32 has a higher condensation efficiency than that of R1234ze(E). The Stephan-Hasse model was adopted to explain this phenomenon by interaction energy. Additionally, a theoretical model which relates the condensation coefficient and potential energy difference was proposed. The greater the value of the ratio of potential energy difference with kinetic energy is, the larger the condensation coefficient is.
