Compared with traditional nanocrystalline (NC) metals, the lamellar eutectic structure shows a unique grain rotation behavior under tensile loading in this work. The sensitivity of heterophase interface to local shear strain enhances the rotation rate of dual-phase laminae and promotes the plastic co-deformation between L12 and B2 phases, which helps realize more severe grain rotation. In this case, the local stress concentration is released, which enhances the ductility and makes it difficult to form shear band at the grain boundaries.
