It has been observed that fluid-solid interfacial slip plays a major role in determining the fast fluid transport through nanoscale channels. Hence manipulation of slip length can be considered as a viable method for controlling the fluid flow through nanoscale channels. With the help of molecular dynamics simulation of argon fluid confined in platinum nanochannels. We have studied the effect of surface roughness and channel width on the hydrodynamic slip length. This study presents some guidelines for tuning interfacial hydrodynamic slip length.
